My Craft Show Display for Laser Engraving and Watercolor Artwork

My Craft Show Display for Laser Engraving and Watercolor Artwork

2022 was a lot different for me as I participated in 4 craft fairs / shows. My favorite show was the Vintage & Made Fair, especially the Holiday market. If you live in Central Iowa I highly recommend attending the show as either a shopper or vendor. It was well organized and had such a great variety of exhibitors as well as entertainment and food trucks! All in all it was a ton of work but the boost in exposure to my business was worth it!

Here are photos from my Holiday market display at the Vintage & Made Fair Holiday Market 2022.

Changes to my display I'd like to make for next year:
Move my checkout to the front - we got pretty busy and my booth got a bit crowded with people wanting to pay. I'm going to discontinue making tiered tray decor and stick to my interchangeable signs. Make more of the backers and bring more holidays as they were by far my most popular items.
Bring more examples of my lake maps and bring more brochures!
Streamline my checkout process - especially the custom orders - I didn't want to mess up the orders I needed to ship and which ones were going to be local pickup. I use Shopify POS and I don't think I took advantage of all the features as I didn't learn how to use it well enough ahead of time.
Get a different display for my 11x14 prints. The rotating rack I got on Facebook Marketplace worked great for the 8x10 prints but I was missing something for the larger prints and matted ones.
I'd also like to add lighting. The power wasn't working at the outlet on our section of wall so I wasn't able to put up any lighting. We bought some puck lights to mount on the underside of my shelves so it wasn't so dark on the back side of the gondola display.

For next year I'm going to request the inside space again. Not dealing with the wind knocking over my products was a huge bonus!
