A three layered oval shaped ornament with a single large cardinal on a branch with berries in the middle. The back layer is birch trees , painted white in my sample. The top layer is a frame trim piece (sample painted a sage green (montana gold manila light) The cardinals are hand painted using watercolors. They have score lines on them for added detail. I hand painted the cardinal and spray painted the bottom and top layers in my sample.

I've added a smaller oval ornament in the frame trim piece to use the scrap area and make a single layer ornament without the backing or trim pieces. See photos for samples.
